This Power Fish is Tristan's first surfboard. He is building this board in the time when he is not doing his school work which he does for the NZ correspondence school. Tristan has just turned 11. The board is being shaped at the moment.

When building the Power Fish it is
important to lay the frames at
approximately 30 degrees to a line
drawn accross the board.
The inside of the deck and bottom
panels are also diagonal.
Please note that when laminating
the board the internal layers cross
each other with every new layer
added.
